🌸 Navarathri 8th Day – Mahagauri Pooja (Durga Ashtami) 🌸
The eighth day of Navaratri is celebrated as Durga Ashtami, dedicated to Goddess Mahagauri. She symbolizes purity, peace, and prosperity. Devotees believe that worshipping Mahagauri removes past sins and brings divine blessings for a happy life.
On this day, pooja is performed with white flowers, coconut, milk-based sweets, and rice offerings. Many devotees also perform Kanya Pooja (Kumari Pooja), worshipping young girls as a form of the Goddess. It is believed that Mahagauri blesses devotees with calmness, harmony, and wealth.
