Worship of Goddess Brahmacharini
On the second day of Navarathri, devotees worship Goddess Brahmacharini, the symbol of penance, devotion, and spiritual strength. She is depicted holding a rosary in one hand and a water pot in the other, signifying purity, meditation, and perseverance.
Performing puja on this day is believed to bring peace, patience, and prosperity. Devotees offer jasmine flowers, sugar, and fruits to the Goddess. The color of the day is white, representing purity and calmness.
During the puja, devotees chant mantras dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini and light lamps to seek blessings for a happy, healthy, and spiritual life. Fasting and meditation are also practiced by many devotees on this day.
