Navarathri Day 3 – Worship of Goddess Chandraghanta

                          Navarathri Day 3

          Worship of Goddess Chandraghanta

On the third day of Navarathri, devotees worship Goddess Chandraghanta, the warrior form of Goddess Durga. She is adorned with a half-moon shaped like a bell (Ghanta) on her forehead, symbolizing bravery, peace, and strength.

The Goddess rides a lion and is depicted with ten hands holding various weapons, representing her protective power. Worshiping her is believed to remove fears, obstacles, and bring courage, peace, and prosperity.

Devotees offer lotus flowers, milk, sweets, and fruits during the puja. The color of the day is red, symbolizing power, passion, and energy.

This day inspires us to face challenges fearlessly and reminds us that with courage and devotion, all difficulties can be overcome.
